Now you don’t have to add/use multi atom.xml sitemap to Google Webmaster or any other third party tools. Blogger combine all atom.xml in one file with short and general name.
Blogger silently rolled out XML sitemaps to all of the BlogSpot Blogs domains. This is another long awaited feature and finally released but for half users as it will not work on blogger custom domain. But don’t worry, blogger will do for them too in upcoming days. You can see these only on BlogSpot blogs and not on ones blogger Custom Domains. Blogger has been adding more and more features and this is another really awesome roll out from Blogger.
What Is An XML Sitemap?
Sitemaps are a way to tell Google about pages on your site we might not otherwise discover. Many or custom sites have css in there sitemaps but official Blogger Sitemap doesn’t have any style sheets attached to it.The sitemaps generated by blogger has the url and the last modified date, which will help search engines in identifying fresh content on your blog, crawl and index the same.
How To Create Sitemap For Blogger?
Don’t worry and enjoy because blogger officially generat every blog Sitemap as the bloge published. And on every new post, the Sitemap got officially update with your latest data within a sec or less. So in blogger you don’t have to worry about it. Now its time to get your pre-generated sitemap.
How To Get New Sitemap For Blogspot Domain?
As you know and we described that blogger automatically generate every blogger sitemap and keep that on a simple url as /Sitemap.xml only. How simple it is rather than old sitemap in that we use atom feed as our sitemap like /atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500. Now you don’t have to use atom if you are using blogspot domain. Just write /sitemap.xml in front of your blog to get new sitemap.

How To Add This Sitemap To Google Webmaster Tools:
You can use this sitemap to submit to Google Webmaster as we said earlier and also in third parties. To submit this, just follow our previous article about How To Submit Your Full Blogspot SiteMap To Google Webmaster? and use this sitemap.xml link instead of atom.xml if you have blogspot domain. For custom domain, you still have to follow that tutorial from head to toe. Just add sitemap.xml as your Blog’s sitemap even if it has more than 100000+++ posts.
